The money will go towards a Festival of Inclusion in Horsham Park and Pavilions. The mix of sports sessions and hands on art, music and craft workshops on the first day will help to encourage people from the local community to work with and accept people with learning disabilities based at the Forest Hospital. On the second day workshops, displays, activities and stalls will provide an opportunity to explore and learn about different cultures from a diverse range of local cultural groups.

The grant will help to continue to provide circles of support to disabled young people through the Credo East project. The project enables decisions made by the young people to be put into action and gives them more control over their own lives._x000B_

Circle of Support for disabled children and young people

The project will support families where parent are disabled, have learning difficulties, mental health issues and where children are deemed at risk.  Support will be through person centred learning programmes and practical support.

Families Forward

This project will develop circles of support around disabled children and their families in Glasgow. Circles of support are informal support networks, developed with a facilitator, which allow for healthy and secure relationships to be built up. They help children and their families plan for the future, as well as providing practical support in ways that may not be available through other services.

Mid Sussex Inclusive Arts Festival

The group will use the grant to organise a 'Partners in Policymaking' programme for disabled adults and parents of disabled children.  The one-year grant will support the salaries and programme support costs.

Partners in Policy Making Programme

The funding will be used to provide online and phone support for people with mental and physical disabilities. The project aims to support the community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Circles of Support

The funding will be used to stage a 25th anniversary celebration event. The project aims to bring people together to share knowledge and skills.
