The project will challenge stereotypes and cultural norms that contribute to and/or normalise violence against women by raising awareness in targeted communities on the rights of females with disabilities. It will also empower disabled people through sensitisation and training so they feel empowered to stand up for and advocate for their own rights and access the legal protection that is their right.

Disability Inclusive Village Community Banking (VICOBA)

This is a project  to run community activities promoting multiculturalism. This will bring the beneficiaries together to celebrate diversity and improve community cohesion. Funding is for volunteer coordinator and expenses, publicity, events resources, registration, and printing.

Another Brick in the Wall

A project by this charity to set up a series of workshops and events which involve local schools and other further education groups. The project will centre around a living board game where the local environment such as school buildings, playing fields and community centres are used as the board on which to play the game. The game will cover a variety of subjects, for example if the group uses a community cafeteria it can become the setting to explore food and fair trade in India or South America.
