Plans are for groups of residents and partners to work together to deliver an action plan to promote shared values of tolerance, respect and democracy. There will be a buddying scheme where new families are linked up to an existing local resident for support and guidance on the area, Heart, Head and Mind training sessions, Cultural or Art events to celebrate diversity, community food markets and events to share diverse foods and stories. There are also a wide range of activities that focus on the area itself planned such as community garden awards, litter pick days, the planting of tree and wildlife and the regeneration of local green spaces.

Key milestones to be completed by the end of this grant: (1) Business Plan, Monitoring and evaluation framework agreed (2) Funding secured for Community Development Work and Community Transport Work up to March 2023 (3) Funding secured for changes to the building (4) Second staff review (post CV19) completed (5) Board of Trustees receiving monitoring against Business - Plan outcomes on a quarterly basis (6) Exit Strategy from Funding the Future in place

External Consultant

For a sustainable and environmentally friendly community gardening and ecology project, which is open to all residents living in a set of flats in the Hartcliffe area.
