The group will use the award to produce 2 leaflets which will publicise a Silver Jubilee commemorative waymarked footpath, and place waymarkers along the route. graphic design, printing, waymarkers and volunteers expenses.

The project is to promote walking as a healthy activity. The money is for publicity costs.

Llanelli Festival of Walks 2007

The organisation promotes walking and keeps local footpaths open and useable. The project is to mark out a new walk centred on Chesterfield and to publish an information leaflet on the route. The award is for interpretation boards, waymarks and leaflets.

Chesterfield Round Walk

Partnership project with Cruse who work with people who have been bereaved. They will combine their existing Walking for Health group with the partner group Cruse who help bereaved people. They will try differing approaches to bring bereaved people together with walking activities using a referral system for the project. The organisation have a strong infrastructure in place to deliver this project and for the model is to be replicated across England. They have strong connections with relevant organisations.
